The nesting habitat of the royal albatross on Campbell Island

The southern royal albatross (Diomedea, epomophora epomophora Lesson) has two habitats in which it spends its entire life: the southern seas and Campbell Island. During its first 8 or 9 years of life, 'and during the every other year when it does not breed, and when it is not on the nest incubating or tending the young, the albatross is gliding over the South Pacific, in search of food, or resting at sea.
